Well the summer is quickly coming to an end (already over if you are in school) and the fall is fast approaching. You may remember last year, I told you that this is my favorite time of the year. If you don’t remember then, “Fall is my favorite time of year”.
As I think about the summer, I must say that it was amazing. We started out with Super Summer at HLG. Then, we had the chance to do mission work in Port St. Joe, Florida. I had a blast and I hope the students and adult that went did as well. As for Bethany Baptist, you all played a major role in the trip with prayer and support financially.
But now, we look at what is to come. We have some exciting things planned already. Here is a quick list and dates:
September 18th- See You at the Pole Rally with Julian Drive in concert @ Fruitland Community
September 23rd- See You at the Pole at the school flagpole
October 1st- 33 Miles, John Waller and Pocket Full of Rocks Concert
Xtreme Winter sign-ups have also begun. I want to encourage you all to go with us to Branson on December 27-29th for this amazing event.
Finally, I am looking for people who have small projects that need to be done around their house. If you have something that teenagers can do, let me know and I will get you an application for our “Local Mission Effort” that will take place the Saturday before Thanksgiving. This will be a first come-first serve basis so let me know ASAP.
Enjoy the opening of football and whatever you do, don’t dive after the Nerf football if you are over 40!
